Organisational changes in Orange Polska Management Board

20 December 2016

The Management Board of Orange Polska has decided on some organisational changes that will come into force on 1 January 2017.

Mariusz Gaca who is currently Deputy CEO in charge of the Business Market (B2B) will take a newly formed position of Deputy CEO in charge of Consumer Market (B2C). This will combine responsibility for three areas,  that so far have been managed separately: Sales and Digitisation, Marketing B2C, Brand and Marketing Communication. At the same time, Bożena Leśniewska who is currently the Management Board Member in charge of Sales and Commercial Digitisation, will be appointed a Deputy CEO in charge of the Business Market.

The change aims mainly to consolidate Orange Polska’s management of the consumer market, joining sales, marketing and communication under one leadership. The management board strongly believes this will enhance and simplify the internal structure  and improve execution of the company’s strategy in both B2C and B2B functions.

– I am convinced that Mariusz Gaca’s experience, knowledge of the market and the company, combined with his pragmatism and results orientation, will ensure our ambitious goals delivery in consumer market for next years. Bożena Leśniewska’s experience in sales for both B2C and B2B, her determination and leadership skills will enable us to strengthen our position in B2B market. I wish Bożena and Mariusz successes and all the best in their new roles  – said Jean-François Fallacher, president of the Management Board and CEO of Orange Polska.

Past experience of both Mariusz Gaca and Bożena Leśniewska makes them fully qualified to handle new areas of responsibilities. Between 2009 and 2013 Mariusz was the Executive Director in the then TP Group in charge of sales and customer care for both B2C and B2B markets, and also the CEO of TP Group’s mobile arm PTK Centertel. Bożena, between 2006 and 2013 handled various executive job positions, being responsible for sales for business customers. Among others, she successfully executed integration of structures responsible for the business market in TP and PTK Centertel.
